Songs From Moving On
Chapters 11 and 12
All of the songs on this page are the songs sung by characters in Moving On chapters 11 and 12. The only songs I made videos for are the ones that advance the story, so the songs sung by Suze in these chapters are not included. These chapters have very mediocre visuals. I may go back and redo them at some point, but since the only part that really matters in them is the audio, it's not very high on my list of priorities.
Noah's Song - You've Got A Friend
Performed by James Taylor
Noah sings this song to his new crush, Scott. He knows Scott is going through a lot emotionally, and wants to sing a song to show his support. While he doesn't think a relationship is in the cards, he's hopeful. He doesn't realize how close he is to entering into a relationship with Scott.

Sarah's Song - Don't Stop Believing
Performed by Journey
Sarah chooses Don't Stop Believing more to give Noah a hard time than anything else. However, the message in the title and chorus apply to Scott's situation. Despite later revelations about Sarah's personality, this song shows that she does have a side that cares about the feelings of others.

Scott's Song - Halo
Performed by Beyonce
Scott explicitly chooses this song as a promise to never forget his deceased husband, Steve. However, his subconscious desire to begin a relationship with Noah emerges as he sings. Scott never explicitly mentions whether or not that was intentional when he chose this song, but it becomes clear he embraces the second meaning when he returns to the gang after performing.

Tom's Song - Without You
Performed by Rosario Dawson and Adam Pascal
From the Soundtrack to RENT
Tom sings this song to Sarah, with the help of Suze. He sings Mimi's lines and Suze performs Roger's lines. Tom admits he couldn't remember which lines were sung by which character when he chose it, so he took the 'main' role. This song reveals that Tom and Sarah have been secretly dating and the depth of Tom's feelings for Sarah.
